INDEX / NEXT This is taken from a float plane. After arriving in Bella Bella, I spent several hours flying around the area. We flew over snowy mountains, low river valleys, lakes and channels. The diversity of terrain is remarkable. Note in this picture how quickly the land slopes up from the water to the mountain peaks. While this is a rainforest, the actual portion of land that is forest and rainy is quite small.
