INDEX / NEXT Once the coast mountains get high enough, this is the resulting landscape. The winter has been long, cold and snowy up here. It will still be melting and keeping the rivers high well into the summer. It was fun flying low over these snow fields. We could often see animal tracks and occasional small avalanches.
