Destination: The Chilcotin region of British Columbia
A short flight and a million miles from Vancouver is the Chilcotin region of British Columbia. Just east of the coast mountains, this country is big and
dry. But the landscape is spectacular, the rivers cold, and the scenery endless. It feels like the Rockies but without the people. There are a few cattle, some horses, some
cowboys, and quite a number of bears. Sam had the opportunity to visit a grantee for a few days, and to tour by foot and auto.
