INDEX / NEXT Upper Mussel River The river's character changed very quickly as we moved upstream. As you can see here, it is moving very quickly and is full of boulders. We were unable to move farther up river on this side, so attempted to cross. That didn't work either. So we relaxed for a short while, enjoyed a sun break, snacked, and turned around.
